In particular, the Red Hand series concentrates on images with a social/political/emotional message. The photographs combine hand-painting with collage and small objects.

The significance of the red hand comes from the expression “blood on your hands”. Each photograph is my visual comment on how things affect me personally. About how, when we accept the decisions made by others on our behalf we then have to accept responsibility for the outcome, even though it may be destructive of life and/or the environment.
